Tips to help update the galley style kitchen.

I really like HGTV it gives so many ideas for the home and how to make it better for you and your lifestyle. Genevieve Gorder always has some really good ideas and tips to help make the home better in how it looks, feels and fits your life style. I really like this video and she says it better than I can so watch this video to see how she would update the galley style kitchen.

Enlarging a Cramped Kitchen – Ask Genevieve – Episode 1

So many older homes have this kind of kitchen, so these ideas really do help to make it feel larger and work better.

If you think that you would have a hard time keeping those cabinets clean and pretty all the time, try frosted glass with some lights in the cabinets to add some pop to them.

How would you change the galley type of a kitchen? Leave a comment telling us how you would do it.

This is short and sweet. But it is packed with good information. Enjoy.

Utah’s Fall Home Show

This is a fun thing that we like to do every time that they come around. It is the home show. It is a great place to get ideas for things that you might want to do in your home. Since this one is close to home. That is where we will be this weekend.

Utahns will experience an assortment of products and services to help them meet their design, renovation, and home building needs at this year’s Deseret News Fall Home Show, October 12 – 14 at the South Towne Expo Center. For over 30 years, the Home Show has inspired its guests to successfully foster a variety of home and garden projects.

Autumn is a great opportunity to begin making renovation plans, and the Home Show can help to provide a creative boost to assist in the development of those ideas. Home Show-goers can visit more than 300 vendor booths that offer useful knowledge and resources for ongoing and prospective home renovation.

In addition to showcasing a variety of vendors, seminars will be conducted by Todd Davis from HGTV’s Room Crashers and Nicole Curtis from HGTV/DIY Network’s Rehab Addict, both of whom are determined to share innovative design ideas and tips for any budget. Guests of the Home Show can also sample the cuisine of local chefs like Fox 13’s Jennifer Burns. A special feature this year is the “Ask a Designer” booth with interior design experts from Opal Design Group who can provide personalized insight on how to transform any space.

What a great way to fix up, clean up, make beautiful all the projects around you home.

If you are in our area join use at the home show. Have some fun. Get inspired. If you are doing it yourself or hiring someone to do it for you. It is a good place to go to get the inspiration that you need.

Get the inspiration you need to transform your home inside and out, into a space to be proud of.
