When decorating a studio apartment you need to think of the the things that you will need to do in that small space. A place to eat, sleep, a desk, entertainment ( tv and music), were are you going to store the things that you have.
For smaller spaces you always need to think about things doing more than one thing. Or ways to hide what you do not want seen. Think outside the box more than in some other spaces to be able to get the most into the small space that you have.
This video gives an idea of the things in the space doing more than one thing in the space.
What a lot of different ways to make a space work for you. You can see what I mean in this video.

These are some ways to add more fun and function to a small space. You need to think about what you need and how you can get it to fit into the small space that you have. Do you have tall ceilings, can you go up to add to your living space? How can you make something work better for you and what you need to do in the space.
If you are renting, find out if you can make some changes to add to your space or not. If you can not you will need to think about what you can do to make it work for you.
Some things could be:
A hide a bed (like in the last video), it goes up in the day time and comes down when you want to sleep.
Hide the desk away until you need it ( like in the last video).
Have a small table for eating that can fold down so that it does not take up as much space as when it is up.
A bench that adds as storage space.
These are just a few ways that you can add interest, fun and function to your small space.
